Sesame Cucumber Salad








This tasty salad is healthy, refreshing and simple to prepare. It incorporates gomasio, a Japanese seasoning of sesame seeds and sea salt. I enjoy it as soon as it’s prepared (for a 5 minute recipe), but you can also let this salad sit in the refrigerator overnight for more of a tart, pickle-ish flavor.


Approx 1 lb small cucumbers (I used cukes about 1″ in diameter)
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/2 tsp brown rice vinegar
2 tbsp gomasio









1 Clean and peel cucumbers. Slice thinly and put in a bowl.
2 Drizzle with brown rice vinegar and toasted sesame oil. Toss.
3 Sprinkle with gomasio and toss again.
