Greens in Coconut Chili Oil

This simple preparation method yields some tasty results!


1 bunch of your favorite greens – I used a mixture of kale, chard and kohlrabi greens
1 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil
a pinch of salt
a sprinkle of chili powder


1 Clean greens and loosely chop.
2 Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over a medium flame until it liquifies.
3 Put a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of chili powder into the oil. Rotate to coat the pan.
4 Put the greens in the pan. Use tongs to toss the greens and coat them in the oil. Cook until the greens soften and become brightly colored.
