Sweet Balsamic White Beans
1. Place oil, water and salt in sauce pot over medium flame.
2. Drain and rinse beans & place into pot.
3. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes, then add balsamic vinegar and sugar, and stir.
4. Allow to simmer for another 10-15 minutes, or until most liquid is absorbed, stirring every few minutes. There should be a thick bean paste along with whole beans visible in the pot.
This dish is perfect for a barbeque! Also makes a delicious accompaniment to pork chops.
